Biloxi senior forward Anna Thigpen earned her second Sun Herald Girls Player of the Week honors following a double-double on Friday night.

Thigpen scored 14 points, grabbed 13 rebounds and blocked six shots as Biloxi won 55-38 at Oak Grove Friday night.

Biloxi advance to face Starkville at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday in the Class 6A state quarterfinals as the Mississippi Coliseum in Jackson.

Thigpen is averaging 7.4 points and 9.8 rebounds this season for the Lady Indians (23-9).
