St. Martin played Crestview (Fla.) High evenly in the first half, but allowed 17 third quarter points to fall 46-24.
On the Yellow Jackets first drive, Wayne Overman completed four passes for 19, 8, 12 and 15 yards, the latter to Quan Walley for a 7-0 lead.
The Bulldogs completed pass plays of 46 yards and 50 yards on their next two possessions, the latter for the go-ahead score. The Yellow Jackets denied the Bulldogs the 2-point conversion, and the Bulldogs led 8-7.
The Yellow Jackets (2-2) scored their second touchdown of the night on an 11-yard Walley run to regain the lead at 14-8.

Crestview regained the lead on their ensuing possession with a 7-play drive, capped by an 8-yard pass into the end zone early in the second period to take a 15-14 lead.
Overman completed passes of 13, 28 and 11 yards on their final scoring drive of the first half. The 11-yard completion was to Ham McGee in the endzone, which put the Yellow Jackets up 21-15 with 2:02 remaining on the second quarter clock.
Crestview responded quickly, connecting on a 29-yard completion to the Yellow Jackets’ 2 yard-line. The Bulldogs converted on a 2-yard screen pass to regain the lead at 22-21, and never trailed after that.
“We had some missed assignments,” said Yellow Jackets coach Eddie Whitehead. “They played better than we did. They were better than us.”
The Bulldogs came out of halftime, scoring two quick touchdowns and a field goal for a 39-21 lead.
A 25-yard TD run on quarterback keeper in the fourth quarter closed out the game’s scoring.
Overman completed 16 of 40 passes for 185 yards and a touchdown and three interceptions. The Bulldogs amassed 176 rushing yards, led by McGee’s 61 yards and Overman’s 49 yards.
The Yellow Jackets travel to East Central next Friday.
