Former Pascagoula and Ole Miss football star Senquez Golson had foot surgery on Monday and could miss nearly four months, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
Golson suffered a Lisfranc injury a week ago during practice and was carted off the field. After the swelling subsided, the surgery was scheduled for the cornerback.
Golson may be placed on short-term injured reserve, which allows a player to return to the team after eight weeks.
Golson, who was a second-round selection by Pittsburgh in 2015, also missed last season with a shoulder injury.
