After missing his first season in the NFL with an injury a year ago, Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Senquez Golson suffered another injury Monday during practice in Latrobe, Pa.
The former Pascagoula and Ole Miss star suffered what Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin described as a “mid-foot injury,” according to Albert Breer of TheMMQB.com. He is set to be further evaluated Monday evening.
Golson, who was carted off, threw his helmet to the ground in frustration, according to multiple media reports.
Golson missed the 2015 campaign with a shoulder injury following his second-round selection by the Steelers in that year's NFL Draft.
