According to the Twitter account an Ole Miss assistant football coache, the Rebels have added a much needed depth to their defensive corps.

Assistant offensive line coach and coordinator of recruiting development Ben Aigamaua tweeted Wednesday morning that the Rebels picked up Oregon State graduate transfer Rommel Mageo.

"It's not how you start, it's how you FINish!" he tweeted.

Mageo is a big addition for the Rebels, which inked two linebackers in its highly-ranked 2016 signing class and graduates production from the likes of Denzel Nkemdiche (53 tackles), C.J. Johnson (43) and Christian Russel (36).

In Mageo, the Rebels are getting a 6-foot-3, 233-pound linebacker from American Samoa who led the Beavers with 87 total tackles. He also recorded 2.0 tackles for loss, two sacks and two interceptions as a junior in 2015.

The school has not officially announced the addition as of yet.
