The show will help set up a rematch from last year's 23-17 Ole Miss victory in Oxford, which helped catapult the Rebels into the College Football Playoff picture.
Katy Perry was the guest picker and ended up partying on The Square after students brought down Vaught-Hemingway Stadium's goal posts.
Next weekend's show will mark the second time the Tide (2-0) have been on GameDay. The show opened the season in Arlington, Texas, for Alabama's game against Wisconsin.
Tuscaloosa has hosted GameDay 10 times.
Saturday's game is set for an 8 p.m. kickoff on ESPN.
