Less than a week after Hugh Freeze abruptly resigned as Ole Miss football coach, the school officially introduced Gulfport native Matt Luke as the interim coach.

Ole Miss is streaming Luke’s introductory press conference live on its website and Ole Miss Football Facebook page, starting at 1 p.m. Monday. You can find the live video feed here:

The Rebels moved swiftly last week in naming Luke the interim head coach. The school announced Thursday that Hugh Freeze had abruptly resigned after it had discovered a “concerning pattern” in Freeze’s personal life.

On Friday, the Sun Herald’s Patrick Magee caught up with Luke’s former Gulfport coach, Ronnie Cuevas, who had some interesting insight into the new Rebel coach. Biloxi coach and Ole Miss alum Bobby Hall also voiced his opinion on the coaching change.
