Report: Mississippi State's Green, Ward arrested

According to the Starkville Daily News, Mississippi State redshirt freshman Gerri Green and junior DeAndre Ward were arrested the by Oktibbeha County Sheriff's Department shortly after midnight Friday morning. Green was arrested on a charge of possession of beer in a dry county, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Ward was arrested on a charge of possessing beer in a dry county and disturbing the peace. According to the report, officers shut down a party held at Green's apartment near MSU's campus. Green and Ward were the only two arrested.

A MSU spokesperson said the team is aware of the arrests and "the school will let the process play out with discipline being handled internally."
