The Southern Miss women's soccer team will play an exhibition game against Nicholls State at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the Gulfport Sportsplex.

The cost of admission for the game is $10 for adults and $5 for children and students.

The USM staff and players will hold a clinic and camp following the game. The clinic for ages 4-12 will start at 1:30 p.m. and a camp for ages 14-18 will run from 1:30-5 p.m.

The 4-12 clinic is free with the purchase of a game ticket for the first 60 registered.

The 14-18 camp is $20 with the purchase of a game ticket for the first 60 registered.

The Lady Eagles are coming off a 5-11-3 season under head coach Mohammed El-Zare.

USM has three players from the Coast who have made significant contributions.

Ashton Stennis of Ocean Springs, who plays defender, started all 19 games for the Golden Eagles last year.

Senior defender Breann Hedin of Long Beach scored two goals in 17 appearances last season, starting seven.

Biloxi's Brittany Snyder, a Biloxi product, played two games in goal last season for the Lady Eagles.

Nicholls State went 6-10-1 in 2015 and is coached by Dylan Harrison.
