Sun Belt, Southern Miss release full 2023 football schedule
The Sun Belt Conference has officially released its 2023 football schedule and with it came the full slate of Southern Miss games and dates.
The Golden Eagles, playing in their second season in the SBC, will have their toughest set of road games yet in the Will Hall era with trips to Florida State, Mississippi State, South Alabama and App State among others.
The SBC has doubled USM’s weeknight offerings with two games this year on a midweek national broadcast. Both of them will be road trips at USA and Louisiana.

- 9/23 at Arkansas State
- 9/30 vs Texas State
- 10/7 vs Old Dominion
- 10/14 Bye Week
- 10/17 at South Alabama (Tue.)
- 10/28 at App State
- 11/4 vs ULM
- 11/9 at Louisiana (Thu.)
- 11/18 at Mississippi State
- 11/25 vs Troy
The slate features only one home-stand and it comes near the beginning of the conference schedule against Texas State and Old Dominion.
The kickoff times and broadcast information for each midweek game and all weekend games through the first three weeks will be selected and released in late May, according to the league.
