From tears to bear hugs, see emotional end to incredible Southern Miss baseball season

We could all use a big hug from Southern Miss head coach Scott Berry right now.

The Golden Eagles lost to the Ole Miss Rebels in the second game of the Hattiesburg Super Regionals on Sunday, and players didn’t hide their emotions at Pete Taylor Park as their historic season came to an end.

The Rebels advance to Omaha, Nebraska.
