Southern Miss baseball will host NCAA Regional next week. Full bracket drops Monday
Southern Miss will be one of the 16 host schools for the first round of the NCAA baseball tournament.
The NCAA announced the host locations on Sunday via Twitter, and Hattiesburg was posted among the regional sites, listed in alphabetical order.
Southern Miss is 43-16 and ranked No. 18 in the latest RPI rankings. The Golden Eagles are 22-10 at home.
The last time USM hosted a regional was in 2017, when the team won 50 total games but was defeated twice by Mississippi State in the regional final.
The full bracket, including seeding, will be revealed on Monday at 11 a.m. on ESPN2.
