Southern Miss football was already set to have four games broadcast live on Twitter this season and now you can add two more on another major social network, Facebook.
It's all part of Conference USA's agreement with Stadium, a new digital network formed by the merger of American Sports Network, Campus Insiders and 120 Sports.
Stadium will be available for free 24/7 on Twitter and other platforms like Sling TV, which is a pay service, and Pluto TV, which is a free app that is available on most streaming devices.
On Wednesday, Stadium announced a schedule of 15 games that will be streamed exclusively on Facebook. A pair of USM road games are on that slate – 6 p.m., Oct. 7 at UTSA and 2:30 p.m., Nov. 11 at Rice.
The games will be available at facebook.com/StadiumCollegeFootball.
Southern Miss will open the season at 3 p.m. on Sept. 2 with a home game against Kentucky that will be broadcast by CBS Sports Network.
