Quinton Campbell scored 16 points and Bilal Abdur-Rahim 12 for the Golden Eagles (3-10), who made only 4 of 22 3-pointers and committed 15 turnovers.
Southern Miss, after falling behind by 20 early in the second half, went on a 20-5 run to get within six with 9 1 / 2 minutes to go but Boykins scored four points to begin a 9-0 spurt and then two free throws to start an 16-2 run to solidify a double-digit lead.
