The Mississippi Gulf Coast's top sports talk show is coming to an end.

Tommy Domenico, host of “The Happy Hour with Tommy D” announced Wednesday on his Twitter account that he has been let go as part of corporate cutbacks by Alpha Media after 13 years.

“I've grown as a broadcaster and a person over those years,” Domenico said in a statement. “Had a chance to meet some awesome people and cover some great sporting events.”

Domenico's show ran from 3-6 p.m. on 1490 AM and 1640 AM. He and his co-host, Chuck Edwards, touched on a wide range of topics, including the Saints, Pelicans, Southern Miss and Biloxi Shuckers.

“Thanks to all who who were guests over the years,” Domenico said. “You took the time out of your day to join a small market show. Can't thank you enough.”
