NFL fans are using their creativity to generate Super Bowl 50 memes, and I went to Instagram to look for six of the best. I came up with three for each team -- the Denver Broncos and the Carolina Panthers, who will meet in the game at 5:25 p.m. Feb. 7 at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif. It will be televised on CBS.

I'm sure the pregame memes will get even better on Super Bowl Media Day, which is being changed to Super Bowl Opening Night for primetime TV. The new show will debut Monday, breaking away from the long tradition of Tuesday-morning interviews with players and coaches.

Super Bowl Opening Night will be at the SAP Center in San Jose, where NFL Network will offer three hours of live coverage starting at 7 p.m.

The memes in this post include offensive tackle Michael Oher, quarterback Cam Newton and linebacker Luke Kuechly of the Panthers and quarterback Peyton Manning and linebacker DeMarcus Ware of the Broncos.

Perhaps the only meme that needs to be clarified is the Oher one. It's from a funny scene in the movie "The Blind Side" in which Oscar-winning actress Sandra Bullock plays Leigh Anne Tuohy, Oher's adoptive mother.

The scene is from high school football practice in Memphis and the son learns how to be a powerful blocker.

Oher was an All-American at Ole Miss before he was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the first round in 2009.

He was a starter on the Ravens team that won Super Bowl XLVII when they beat the San Francisco 49ers in a 34-31 thriller in February 2013 in the Superdome in New Orleans.

Oher played for the Tennessee Titans in 2014 and left the Titans after one season to join the Panthers, for whom he protects Newton's blind side, so the Oher meme is all about the blind side.
