Indiana Fever Announce Caitlin Clark, Aliyah Boston Decision on Monday
The Indiana Fever started the week on the road playing in the Commissioner's Cup against the Washington Mystics. The team got some welcome injury news before the tip-off, which had fans excited.
After appearing on the injury report entering the contest, both Caitlin Clark and Aliyah Boston were officially announced as available, with the Fever later confirming both stars would be in the starting lineup.
Indiana shared its starting five on social media Monday evening, featuring Clark and Boston alongside Kelsey Mitchell, Natasha Howard and Sophie Cunningham.
The update comes after both players generated concern over the weekend whether they would be able to take the court in the nation's capital.

Clark was listed as probable with the back issue that has appeared on Indiana's injury report for multiple games. The reigning WNBA Rookie of the Year played through the injury in Saturday's loss to the New York Liberty, finishing with 10 points, nine assists and seven rebounds.
Meanwhile, Boston was listed as questionable with a lower-leg injury after briefly exiting Saturday's game before returning to action. The three-time WNBA All-Star still managed to post 13 points and nine rebounds in 29 minutes against New York.
Progress of Both Fever Stars
Earlier Monday, Boston provided an encouraging update on her condition, telling reporters she was "feeling great, feeling better" following the injury scare.
Fever head coach Stephanie White also indicated the team would continue evaluating Boston throughout the day before making a final decision.
Ultimately, Indiana received the outcome it was hoping for.
Looking to Turn Things Around
The Fever entered Monday's contest at 5-5 and looking to bounce back after a tough loss to the Liberty. Having both Clark and Boston available gives Indiana its full star duo as it attempts to get back into the win column against a Washington team sitting at 4-5.
With Clark and Boston cleared to play and both earning starting assignments, the Fever avoided what could have been a significant injury setback at a critical point in the season.
