A Mississippi Coast gymnast will compete on the world stage in Bulgaria. He’s 12.
Gulfport’s Tyse Love is hitting the international stage.
The 12-year-old gymnast has been selected to represent the United States in Bulgaria as part of the World Age Group Games this fall.
Love will compete in the 13-14 age group a year ahead of schedule.
He officially qualified for the USA trampoline and tumbling Elite Program earlier this year, making him eligible for international competition.
“At 12 years old, to be elite is really incredible,” Love said at the time. “A lot of people don’t reach that.”
The event in Sofia, Bulgaria will begin on November 23.
