Former Delta State pitcher will speak at Ohr Museum Friday
Former MLB pitcher Matt Miller is the guest speaker at noon Friday at the Ohr-O’Keefe Museum in Biloxi.
The Greenwood native will discuss his college and pro career at the latest “Our Love Affair with Baseball” series luncheon. The $10 luncheon includes free admission to the multimedia exhibit.
Miller, who turns 45 in November, starred at Delta State University and had a 13-year pro career.
Miller pitched for the Colorado Rockies in 2003 and the Cleveland Indians from 2004 to 2007. He appeared in 100 games and posted a 6-1 record with a 2.72 ERA.
Miller is an associate scout with the Boston Red Sox.
