Candidates finding their way to Mississippi

Republican presidential candidates have several South Mississippi stops planned over the next few days as the Tuesday primary draws near.

GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney is holding a public rally at the Port of Pascagoula at 5 p.m. today.

Candidate Newt Gingrich plans to hold a rally at Gulfport High School at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, after stops in Meridian and Ellisville earlier in the day. Gingrich had a full day of Mississippi campaigning on Thursday, in Jackson, Tupelo and Southaven.

Candidate Rick Santorum, who began his campaigning for Mississippi’s Tuesday primary with stops in Tupelo and Jackson on Wednesday, plans a rally in Gulfport on Sunday at 7:30 p.m.Gingrich and Santorum also plan to attend a Gulf Coast energy summit from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Coast Coliseum in Biloxi on Monday.
