Man wanted in bank robberies picked up

A suspect in bank robberies in Alabama and Florida has been arrested following a high-speed chase through Jackson County and Pascagoula, Sheriff Mike Byrd said this morning.

David Paul Beaudoin, 48, of Detroit, Mich., is a suspect in at least two bank robberies, one in Daphne, Ala., and the other in Pensacola, Fla.

He was arrested in Jackson County on a charge of failing to stop for an officer following Tuesday's pursuit. He's currently being held in the Jackson County jail.
