One of South Mississippi's most wanted criminal suspects featured in Sunday's Sun Herald has surrendered to authorities in Pascagoula, Lt. James DeShannon Massey said.
Abram Lamar "Gator" Lawrence, 20, was wanted in connection with a Sept. 1 home invasion.
When he went to surrender, Massey said, he told authorities it was just a matter of time before someone turned him in as a result of the most-wanted series.
Another most-wanted suspect, Ivan Dale Tatum was taken into custody Tuesday in Gulfport. He was wanted in Harrison County on a felony charge of sale of a controlled substance.
The Sun Herald updates this story in Thursday's print edition.
