GULFPORT - A judge has refused to lower the bond in a voyeurism case involving a man accused of using a hidden camera to take pictures of people in the bathroom at his home and at two Gulfport restaurants and a gas station.
In a bond hearing this afternoon, a detective testified Darrell Anthony Smith hid a motion-activated camera in a tissue box in his bathroom and in men's bathrooms at Hooters and TGI Friday's restaurants and an Exxon gas station, a prosecuting attorney said.
Smith is charged with 10 counts. Police have found at least eight or more other pictures that could result in additional charges, according to testimony.
Justice Court Judge Dianne Ladner left Smith's bonds at $250,000.
