Fireworks allowed only on beach in Bay St. Louis

BAY ST LOUIS -- The city of Bay St. Louis will allow the use of fireworks only on public beach areas during this 4th of July holiday. Fireworks may not be used anywhere in the city of Bay St. Louis except on the public beach areas due to dry weather conditions and the high risk of accidental fires. By city ordinance fireworks, may be sold and used only between the dates of June 30 and July 4. The ban on all other burning is still in effect for Hancock County and the city of Bay St. Louis until further notice.
