The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Watch for South Mississippi and an Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for areas including Pearl River, Hancock and Harrison counties. The Tornado Watch is until 4 p.m. CST for southeast Louisiana and southern Mississippi.
The advisory states that a line of strong to severe thunderstorms is moving across the area and could cause flooding. Rainfall of 1 to 3 inches is possible.
