A Saucier man is facing a charge of attempted capital murder for allegedly hiring a hit man to kill his ex-wife, according to Jackson County Sheriff Mike Byrd.
Adam Ray Dunn, 30, of the 18400 block of Saucier Lizana Road, was out of jail on bond in Harrison County for three previous counts of rape and one count of kidnapping in that jurisdiction when authorities Wednesday charged him with attempted capital murder in Jackson County.
Prior to being jailed, Dunn was taken to a South Mississippi hospital for treatment of an unknown medical condition, a release said. Following his hospital release, Dunn will be taken to the Jackson County jail.
More arrests are expected.
