The driver of an SUV that collided with a school bus on Popp's Ferry Bridge this morning has been identified as Joseph Wilkins of Biloxi.
Harrison County Coroner Gary Hargrove said the 22-year-old man was northbound in a Toyota 4-Runner when he lost control on the grating and entered the path of a southbound school bus.
Motorists can expect at least another 45 minute delay while the scene is cleared.
The school bus driver had just dropped children off at an elementary school when the accident occurred on the north side of the grating of the bridge.
