Brad Orrison of The Shed cooked up winning pulled pork sandwiches on "Live With Regis and Kelly" this morning in the finals of "Live's Ultimate Hometown Grill Off."
Orrison and Joe Monroe of The Cutting Board in Montana were the finalists of the summer cook off contest series. The Shed will be featured in an upcoming issue of "Better Homes and Gardens" and both contestants won $2,000 in Krups kitchen appliances.
The two cooks are preparing their dishes -- Monroe has the "Eureka Burger" -- for a panel of four judges that includes producer Michael Gelman, Blue Smoke chef Kenny Callahan, Love Chef Francis Anthony, and the Deputy Editor of Food & Entertaining from "Better Homes and Gardens," Nancy Hopkins.
During the tasting, Anthony told the audience, "This restaurant is a destination place" in praising the pulled pork sandwich and accompanying cole slaw which Orrison said was his father's recipe.
