A $2,500 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction in a Nov. 24 hit and run case accident that left former Jackson County Supervisor Frank Leach seriously injured.
Several of Leach's friends made the announcement Monday at the Ocean Springs Police Department.
Leach was hospitalized with broken ribs and a collapsed lung after he was struck just north of his home on Cherokee Glenn Drive.
Leach's wife first saw the vehicle, believed to be a white or silver Mazda 626, parked near their home, with at least one of the occupants standing outside urinating. She called her husband to check it out and shortly after he confronted the driver, the accident happened.

Leach was dragged 40 to 60 feet before the vehicle rolled over him. He was hospitalized until Friday.
Since the accident, Ocean Springs investigators have interviewed more than 20 people, mostly minors from Ocean Springs High School and some adults. Anyone with information should call the Ocean Springs Police Department at 875-2211.
