Sound Off: What’s up with caution tape at Gulfport Sportsplex?

Thanks!

I wish I could post pictures to show the before and after of the grounds at the Orange Grove Library. Thanks to Mike Wilson, Kelly Griffin and all their workers.

Good guys

Want to change the world for the better? Promote youth groups such as the Gulfport Police Explorers in every municipality. You guys rock!

Bad information

Too bad the information was put in the paper about how the carjacking killer was found. Now more lowlife will understand how that works. Some things are best kept quiet.

Pay attention

I just noticed an article in the Chattanooga, Tennessee, newspaper that Tennessee’s lottery record sales mean $394M for education. Hello, are any of our Mississippi officials listening?

Clear choice

For heaven’s sake! The presidential choices are clear — if you want drastic change, vote Trump. If you want more of the same — vote Clinton. And if you think Clinton will not be more of the same, I still have that bridge in Brooklyn to sell you!

What’s up?

I passed through the Gulfport Sportsplex recently and must comment that the facility is expertly maintained. But what’s up with all the yellow rope and caution tape everywhere? What an eyesore.

Leave it

Mayor Gilich: Leave the Keesler main gate alone. It has served well since 1941 and the part of town where the “new” gate would be located is not ideal or picturesque.

How could you?

Just when I thought things could not get worse, I saw on the front page of Tuesday’s Sun Herald that some nasty people stole a service dog from a Hurley teenager who is a paraplegic. How could you be so rotten to steal service dogs? I am sure you will be found and put in jail. Our prayers are with the persons of Hurley.

Bad timing

I had an appointment with a doctor the other day. The appointment lasted two hours with waiting to see the doctor and then another 30 minutes waiting in a room to see the doctor. This is ridiculous. My time is just as important as the doctor. Why do doctors make appointments every 15 minutes whenever they know they will not see you in that time limit? Make appointments every 30-45 minutes.
