Self-sufficiency
I keep reading about problems in America, but no one seems to talk about the real problem: Government programs that set individuals and families up for a life of dependency. Humans must have a feeling of self-worth and responsibility in life, not one devoted to receiving everything without effort. This precludes one to low-self esteem and hopelessness.
Rotation
Rotate the bodies. A lawsuit has been filed against Coroner Gary Hargrove and the Harrison County Board of Supervisors by a group of black funeral home owners, claiming that Hargrove favors white funeral homes over black funeral homes when removing bodies from a death scene. While I am not a fan of Hargrove, it’s a family’s choice as to which funeral home is used, and in the case where family cannot be located, I feel that bodies should be picked up by funeral homes on a rotation basis.
Enough!
Stop it! Stop the violence against the police. No more will the general population stand for it. You and your cause in the end will lose. No one will remember you. We need police and don’t need you.
Too late
Trump will be the next president because Hillary hung in with Obama while he was choosing the wrong side in blacks vs. blues. Her delayed expressions of sympathy for the blue murders lacks sincerity.
Please explain
Not only did MDOT spend $158 million on the port connector road in Gulfport (that probably will never be built), they also bought out a few businesses that were paying taxes and employed quite a few people. With all that money, they could have widened Canal Road and 28th Street to four lanes and had money to spare. Who gives MDOT the authority to spend so much money?
Care about you
With the tragic loss of eight of my LEO brothers these past weeks and all the different “lives matter” movements, I just wanted to comfort the public and tell all of you that your life matters to me. While you read this, I will be out there watching over you along with the rest of my LEO brothers and sisters. Make no mistake. We may walk among the sheep, but we are the sheepdogs. Protect the flock.
Words of wisdom
I’m now 80 years old, and I can still hear my grandmother say she would rather a thief come to her house than a liar. She said you can keep your eyes on a thief but you don’t know what a liar might go off and tell.
