Make use of caller ID to end those annoying calls, Sound Offers say

Civic duty

You want to make America great again? Then be the kind of voter that the Founding Fathers envisioned. Be familiar with the issues and the candidates.

Caller ID

There is a lot of discussion and complaining about unwanted phone calls. I would like to offer this solution: Utilize your caller ID and/or your answering machine. Don’t automatically pick up the phone. If it is important enough, the caller will leave you a message. You can either pick up or call back if it’s someone with whom you wish to speak. With no one answering calls from the pests and con artists, they are effectively put out of business.

Tech exists

The technology you seek already exists. The phone companies should offer it for free, but they don’t. However, multiple options are available on your favorite web store that do just what you ask. Getting a spam call? Just press a button to add it to your block list.

Agenda revealed

U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has crossed a line by publicly denouncing the presidential candidacy of Trump, positively revealing our third branch of government is as political as the other two branches. U.S. Attorney General Lynch showed the same this week. That’s not what our founders intended. I will vote Trump to be certain the next few Supremes aren’t like Ginsburg.

New York values

Looks like we will be having a president with “New York values” regardless of which way the general election goes.

Way to go

Bravo AG Hood for standing up to our bully governor. We have wasted enough time and money on this foolishness.

Lost my vote

Once again, Congressman Palazzo is bragging of having a “tele-townhall meeting” on Monday night via one of his robocall emails. These are all unannounced, not available to all, done at or near suppertime when folks who only get the ringing phone as forewarning. I made the mistake one time of telling the “screener” what I wanted to ask, which was against his agenda, and I foolishly held on until the telecon abruptly ended without getting to me — pretty convenient, huh? He is totally out of touch, has done nothing but what the GOP has told him to, and I never got an answer from his office, either. Guess who won’t get my vote ever again.
