Sound Off: MGCCC student turns in wallet full of cash, credit cards
Time for change
Things have to change. This week, the meeting between the attorney general and Bill Clinton provides a clear view of just how biased and shady this administration is. Hillary will be more of the same.
Thank you
On June 30, I left my wallet with cash, driver’s license, credit cards, etc. in the men's shower room at MGCCC, and I am so proud of the student who returned it intact. Please contact the gym at JD for my thanks/reward.
It does hurt
This is an answer to "Rethink this": Yes, I agree with most of what you wrote, but loud music does hurt. We are senior citizens and loud, booming music gives us bad migraines, which are very painful. We call the police when necessary.
Embarrassing
Something needs to be done about the disgusting condition of the library’s grounds on Old Hwy 49. The grass gets cut (barely) and that’s it. Calls to the city and my county supervisor have gone unanswered. Out-of-town guests comment on the grounds. Embarrassing.
United and free
God Bless America. Please lead us and guide us and stand beside us, for it is only by following you that we will truly be united and free.
Go, Brittney!
What a great role model Brittney Reese is for our young people! Go, Brittney!
Think about it
Your actions always affect someone. You think playing your radio too loud doesn't hurt anyone, but every time you ride by my house with your loud radio, it causes my daughter to black out and have a violent seizure. Do you know how it feels to have to watch your daughter cry almost daily with a seizure and pounding headache because someone came by with a loud radio and shook the windows? It's heartbreaking. She can't go outside without earplugs. She has to worry about drowning every time she bathes. One day, she won't wake up from the seizure, and you will be to blame.
Poppies aren’t sold
The VFW doesn’t sell poppies. They distribute poppies and you can donate, but they do not sell them. I am a member of the VFW Auxiliary in Pascagoula Post 3373. When we get ready to have a poppy drive, we have to send/take request letters to businesses to ask permission. Maybe Rouse’s wouldn’t allow them to on that day, but the other stores would.
