Keep mouth shut

"Ex-presidents should be seen and not heard."

Good plan

I think the drug court plan is a good one, and it needs to be implemented in other areas.

Keeping with motif

Now that Biloxi is mostly dirt and gravel roads, how about some horses, stables and saloons?

How is that bad?

You're complaining about the fact that Trump wants to make the military stronger? In this day and age, why in the world would you see that as something that's negative?

Idea worth copying

East Baton Rouge has had the solution to the recycle problem for years. It has a rolling, covered container marked just for recycle and another marked just for garbage. Maybe we should do that here in Biloxi.

Shocking sight

Maybe it's a sign of the Apocalypse, but I spotted a girl on Bienville Boulevard this morning during rush hour riding a bike, steering with her right hand and texting with her left. I don't understand that; but then maybe I do.

Trust in Trump

Don't you know by now that Trump is the answer to our woes? You should! He understands business and he is fresh to politics. He has never had a job in government and does have the right people to work with in his cabinet. He will make America great again. I can see us in a few years and the progress Trump will make. It is wonderful to think about.

Worth attending

We recently attended the graduation of the Harrison County Law Enforcement Training Academy for Reservists. It was such a beautiful, dignified, moving experience. The Gulfport Fire Department Pipes and Drums as well as the Honor Guard were outstanding. Capt. Federico delivered a commencement speech that was so very inspiring. Many branches of law enforcement were part of the student body, and I heartily urge you to attend the next ceremony. Perhaps it could be publicized so others could support what our law enforcement is doing on the Gulf Coast.

I support Iraq war

To the person who said Iraq is/was a senseless war, tell that to the people who lost friends and loved ones on 9/11 in the twin towers, in the Pentagon, on the planes that were hijacked. I lost my cousin in the attacks and I did and do stand behind the U.S. for taking the fight to the terrorists. I distinctly remember the American people not asking but demanding a war. I'm not a fan of war, and I don't know about anyone else but as for me, I want a president that will stand against the terrorists and protect American soil. I believe in and am very proud of our military for all they have done.
