Sound Off for March 15
They keep telling us 65 percent of voters don't like Donald Trump. If this is true, why is he winning so many states? Doesn't make sense. Who's telling the truth?

Nearly done
So many people following this reality show farce of presidential campaigning is a clear indication that the dumbing down of America is almost complete.
Tables turned?
Trumps rivals blame him for inciting the Chicago violence. A friend of mine put this in perfect perspective. If Republicans were to violently interrupt a Hillary event, would she get the blame?
Now?
Sun Herald, I've referred to Donald Trump as a "rabble rouser" more then once before. You've never been willing to print that characterization. After this last week, are you willing yet?
Repay us
Social Security was originally set up as a trust fund that the government was not supposed to touch for other spending. The last big withdrawal was $500 billion for Obamacare (unilaterally passed by Democrats). Why don't we ask President Obama to restore those funds?
No wonder
Bashing our president is fine. Questioning his birth place is fine. Shouting out in Congress that he is a liar is fine. Now that "they" have a leading candidate that is shouting out, it's not dignified for the office of president? This is called talking out of both sides of their mouth. This nation is saying they are sick of politicians. I wonder why?
Replace state flag
It has been pointed out that the American flag, as well as the Confederate battle flag, has been carried and waved by racists; that is true. Therefore, some have concluded, both flags should be rejected or, better, neither should be, and the Mississippi state flag should be left alone. Here's my problem with that reasoning. It was under the Confederate battle flag that men fought to destroy the United States of America. I do not believe that the flag of any state of the United States of America should include the battle flag under which men fought to destroy our nation. If we believe in this nation, and I do, then everything in each of our state flags should honor the United States of America. By including the Confederate battle flag, the state flag of Mississippi dishonors the United States of America. Therefore, the Confederate battle flag within it should be replaced.
