Sound Off for March 13
Does Bay St. Louis have a noise ordinance of any kind? Someone in our neighborhood is running his loud leaf blower for hours on end, almost every day. Today he's using it on the lawn itself, which is wet from the rain, trying to get every single leaf. The constant noise is very annoying, even when we're in our house with the windows shut. I wonder how his next-door neighbors feel about this. It's been going on for months. We've tried to be patient, but enough is enough.
Keep hands off of my stack
People act crazy when you mess with their money. Trump has exposed their gravy train and Congress is freaking out. They are afraid their grandchildren might have to work for a living, or worse, they might have to support them.
It's all a charade
So, the Manziel/Cleveland Browns saga is finally over. Notice it took several incidents and arrests before Cleveland finally realized it had drafted a real loser? Of course, Manziel won that piece of junk known as the "Take A Hike-Man" trophy. But then again, so did O.J. Simpson. It's about time they ended that "best college athlete" charade also.

The so-called Republican Elite are just as responsible for the fiasco in Chicago at the cancelled Trump rally as any of the right-wing agitators who were bused in to stage the protest.

Sitting here listening to MSNBC reporters Jim Cavanaugh and Chris Matthews lay the blame for the trouble at the Chicago Trump rally on Mr. Trump. The divisive anger in this nation that has built up over the past decade is hardly Mr. Trump's fault.

The Republican universe is in turmoil. Their elected officials, dignitaries, leaders, donors and functionaries are single-mindedly out to stop the Trump juggernaut. Of course, their voters didn't get the memo. It's Trump time in voterville!

If climate change is the reason for calamitous weather situations, should we now call them unnatural disasters instead of natural disasters?

The "free stuff" promised by Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders is not free except to the person receiving it. The free stuff is paid for by my tax money or by increasing the national debt! America, the land of the free has become the land of the free stuff (until the money runs out).
