Waiting to happen

I am not sure which supervisor is responsible for Canal Road -- District 2 or District 3. However, the road has been in terrible condition for a long time. Three feet of the west side of Canal Road has sunk between John Clark and Landon roads. It is just a matter of time before a car or a school bus runs off that side of the road and a terrible accident occurs.

Eye of beholder

Success is definitely in the eyes of the beholder, especially when it comes to an opinion about the president.

Best practice

China has become the No. 1 nation in the world for production and wealth. How did this occur? China does not provide foreign aid. China does not provide welfare. China does not take in refugees.

Hollow actions

Republicans have voted to repeal Obamacare 62 times. My question to Republicans is: So how do you really feel about it? After all, y'all have never put forward a replacement. Empty votes to support empty talk.

Easy to find

If you have a computer, type in Stacker Antenna and hit enter and look around. If not, go to the library and use their computer. We found one at Sears for $38 that has a signal amplifier and a remote-operated rotor. It has a 150-mile radius. Wal-Mart has the same thing for the same price. Either way, it looks like the best bang for your buck. You ought to be able to go to Sears or Wal-Mart and order one there.

Anger management

There's a lot of talk lately about people being "angry." People are angry and for good reason. That reason is the people are not being represented, period. Politicians promise this and promise that, but when they get elected, the only thing they seem to care about is getting re-elected. The reason America exists is because a bunch of people were angry, and for the same reason.

Great service

Kudos to Ocean Springs for looking into the possibility of introducing the Uber service to their fair city. My son recently introduced me to the service while on an overnighter in New Orleans, and I was very pleased with the whole experience. I can understand how local cabbies would be critical. Clean vehicles and courteous and presentable drivers put typical cab service to shame.
