Canal Road paving plans?

Does anyone know if Canal Road will ever be paved? It really needs to be widened out and have left-turn lanes installed. Are their any plans to do this that you know of?

Can't find antenna

Cannot find where to purchase the Stacker antenna. Can anyone guide me as to where they found it for sale?

Just saying . . .

Is it just me or does Ted Cruz look like Pugsley from "The Addams Family?" I'm not calling names, I'm just saying.

Gets my vote

I heard on the radio today that Sen. Ted Cruz did not have anyone in Congress who likes him. That must mean Cruz is apparently doing something right, so he would get my vote.

Scary

Thursday night's Republican debate wasn't a debate. It was air time for fear mongering.

Who's running

You hear from President Obama how far we have come from the recession. Stock markets up, unemployment down, deficit paid down. And he says we have a great country. We need to work together. Then you hear from the senators from Mississippi, and it is all doom and gloom. Fear of the "others." They previously said the president should let states decide what they want. Now they're saying is the president isn't doing enough for us. I know you cannot have it both ways. The president isn't running for election again, but they are.

Me too

In response to the "Too close for comfort" Sound Off, Wal-Mart's retail strategy hits a nerve with me, too.

Wal-Mart's leaders will not be happy until they run every competitor out of business. Not just grocery stores, but they tout themselves as your vision center, gas station and automotive center, meat market, fresh produce market, electronics, hunting/fishing and sports, yard and garden store and pharmacy. Enough is enough!

Speak not in anger

Yes, it is OK to get angry, but the Bible tells us not to "sin in your anger." If you consider yourself a Christian, your words should sound like, "love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness." We are told to "Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice." Yes, it is OK to feel angry but watch your mouth.
