Sound Off for Dec. 29

There is an overpopulation of single bananas on grocers' banana tables. I would like to know what the philosophy is to this action. A single banana from a bunch is broken off and left on the table? What gives? Why do they not find a bunch with the number of bananas they are wanting to buy? Why not buy the whole bunch instead of breaking one off?

Home garden

Congress recently passed the trillion dollar budget and Obama approved it. In this bill was the Country of Origin, where meat companies don't have to tell where their product was processed or grown. That's just great. I'm not buying any food that was processed in the Far East. Home gardens are going to be big this year. If it was not grown in the USA and processed in USA, I'm not eating it.

Walk in their shoes

Thank you, law enforcers for trying to keep us safe. Enforcers aren't all bad. The job they love is awful. They never can let their guard down and must fear for their lives. Protesters are making it worse. Protesters should do time in the line of duty that law enforcers are putting up with. Go on calls where people don't respect and obey. Walk in their shoes, then judge. They are trained to serve, protect.

Fair and balanced

I watch Fox News. I also watch CNN, and I watch all of the news talk programs on ABC, CBS and NBC. If you cannot see how CNN, ABC, CBS and NBC give Hillary Clinton special treatment, you must think she is Mother Teresa. Fox News is the only one that comes close to giving both sides of the story. If you actually watched Fox News with an open mind you would see that.
