Sound Off for Nov. 19
I was so glad to see the new American flag at the walking track by the hospital in Bay St. Louis, and the newly planted trees. Also, thanks to whoever is faithfully keeping up the bird-feeding station.
Where?
Where can I sign my name to the petition against the Lake George Project?
Anyone know?
Can anyone please tell me how many Syrian refugees will be housed in Washington, D.C.? Just wondering.
Here's an idea
Mayor Fo-fo, why not have Cedar Lake Road go to the beach? It already has a turn lane to go to Scarlett Pearl off Brodie Road. Both D'Iberville and Biloxi would reap harvest for visitors to casino, shopping. Just an idea.
Merry Christmas?
I think it is a shame that our Christmas decorations in Biloxi only say Happy holidays. How about Merry Christmas?
Lucky day
Friday the 13th was a lucky day for me. A mile away from Waveland Wal-Mart, I realized I left my purse in the cart in the parking lot. In panic, I turned around and went back, thinking I would never see that purse again. Some honest person had turned it in to the store. This elderly widow is so grateful and thanks you so much. May God bless you and you have a long and happy life. Many, many thanks.
Don't do it
I would really like to know who is answering the junk phone calls that come day and night. Please don't do it. People who reply to these calls as well as answering junk emails just encourage the crazies to keep repeating. One instructed me not to hang up. What a nerve!
Stiffen the laws
The driving on the Coast is getting more and more reckless. It is about time the mayors state how they are going to deal with traffic crimes. I say toughen laws. First-, second- and third-offense reckless driving or aggressive driving should have the same penalties as first-, second- and third-offense DUI's. They sure drive the same.
To the offenders
I hope and pray that the people who broke into my truck by breaking out the passenger door window on Nov. 16 or 17 are identified and arrested by prints taken by the Biloxi PD. You found nothing of course, but cost me $160 and time lost from work. Many thanks to the officers who responded quickly to my incident.
