Sound Off for Nov. 10

All those who did not attend the Veterans Day parade due to weather forecasts are wimps compared to the World War II vets who participated, considering their age.

Got to want it

Maybe the Titans just wanted the win more than the Saints for their new coach. The Saints' poor play calling, tackling and penalties sure helped the Titans.

Have you?

Did you ever take money out of your own pocket to buy school supplies for your class? Did you run fundraisers all year so the library would have books? Did you ever donate much-needed items to your school because otherwise your school would do without? I have! Parents have! We never asked for buckets of money; just "adequate" funds.

We can do worse

C'mon, Mississippi. We can do better than that. I see we only rank 33rd out of 50 in a state government integrity assessment. Let's have some more corruption and asleep-at-the-switch oversight so we can assume our rightful place at the bottom at No. 50 where we usually are.
