Proper names

When you place ads on the tv for your campaign its only fitting that you refer to POTUS as Mr. President or President Obama. I do believe he has earned that title by two fair elections by the majority of our citizens.

No control

Criminals and deranged people do not obey laws. To think that more gun control laws will stop them is insane. Gun control has about as much effect on them as you sticking your index finger in the barrel of their gun.

A disgrace

This highway is a disgrace. The weeds are waist high in the median and the embankments from the 49 exit until you get to D'ibervile. I hate for those cruisers coming from north Mississippi and other points north to see this. Come on, Mississippi! No excuses acceptable.

Note to Cruisers

Dear cruisers, please use caution when driving in and around South Mississippi. We have a little traffic problem here I would like to make you aware of. The folks of the Coast have no respect for other drivers. They will not put the phone down while driving. They care less about everyone around them. Please drive defensive and be cautious.

Who to vote for

Since 1900 we've had 18 presidents. Fifty-six years of Democrats, sixty years of Republicans. Democrats gave us World War I, suffrage, recovery from the Depression, World War II, Korea, Vietnam, Civil Rights and recovery from the Great Recession. Republicans gave us prohibition, the Great Depression, Watergate, 9/11, Iraq, Afghanistan and the Great Recession.

So, who are you going to vote for next year?

Great Cruisin'

What a glorious ride along the beach yesterday, from Waveland almost to Biloxi. The weather was perfect, the water sparkled like diamonds, the beach glowed, the sea oats are coming along nicely, and there are quite a few palm trees that appear to be becoming established. Even the shorebirds seemed happy. It all served as a lovely backdrop for all the fantastic classic and antique cars that were Cruisin' The Coast. They were especially busy at Cruise Central. Thank you, Cruisers, for making my day. Made me happy that I had to go to the dentist.
