Finally

Looks like President Trump has finally realized that you can’t negotiate with terrorists. That took awhile. Now, if we just stomp a mudhole in Iran and walk it dry, we can move on to Cuba. Free the people to create a country worth living in. That’s what this is about, right? Why else would we do such things?

Law enforcement

Under the present circumstances, would you want your child to enter the law enforcement profession? Probably not, nowadays. We have certain groups that want to defund law enforcement, despite the increase in crime in certain areas. Recruitment will be problem in the future with the liberal political climate. Good luck if the liberals get their way. Protect yourself and family like in the old days. Just common sense. You do the crime, pay the time.

Fighting AI

Creative writing is the best defense against artificial intelligence.

Voting penalties

The law says that violent convicted felons cannot vote. Isn’t rape a violent offense? So how does President Trump get to vote? I’m asking for all the convicted felons.

Fix the problem

In Gulfport, piles of trash are supposed to be picked up on rotation. However, as soon as trash piles are picked up, outsiders dump again on the same sites repeatedly. Why? Because they know they won’t be caught, and the city does not monitor the East Pass, Cowan, Tegarden, and Courthouse Road areas. Landlords are not held accountable and vacant lots are targeted.

What about Paxton?

Observing the blowback against Graham Platner of Maine from both sides of the aisle due to scandal after scandal, I also see only Democratic complaints against Ken Paxton in Texas, who has been impeached and indicted. Republicans aren’t allowed to admit that their own candidate is problematic because Donald Trump ousted well respected John Cornyn in favor of scandal plagued Paxton. And so goes the retaliation machine, doing what’s gratifying for Trump’s ego and bad for everybody else.

Iran deal

Shockingly, the Iran deal has collapsed. Negotiated by amateurs and putting us in a worse position than before Trump’s war, maybe MAGA world should hold the praise until the unnecessary war he started is actually over, whenever that is. A “deal” to talk about the major issues “later” is not a deal.
