Which is it?

It’s hard to read these comments in the Sun Herald. According to some, President Trump has made billions and billions of dollars since becoming president just 18 months ago, and his sons and daughter even more. Not one bank receipt of proof. Not one SEC investigation. Yet, the liberal media has already hung them all in public square. I guess I missed the part where he filed for bankruptcy multiple times and never had a nickel, was a grifter and bad or terrible businessman. People should probably make up their minds on which Trump they hate the most because you sound ridiculous.

Making cash

President Trump, himself, reported that he made $2.2 billion in profits since becoming president. He’s a true businessman, using other people’s money, taxes & government contracts, instead of his own.

Patriots

To those who claim that Democrats and Independents hate Trump because they speak out, consider this from one of histories great Republican presidents, Theodore Roosevelt: “To announce that there must be no criticism of, or that we are to stand by the president, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but it is morally treasonous to the American people”. This exemplifies freedom of speech and true patriotism.

Transgender talk

The two comments about Republicans (I would say conservatives) being against transgender males playing in women’s sports confuse me. Biological males have a size and ability advantage over females. It’s science, not homophobia, and it does apply to one group. That is why we are against their playing against women. As to the percentage of people this applies to; why would the number of people matter? Even one is wrong. People who suffer from gender dysphoria deserve human rights. But nothing else.

Happy 250

This is the greatest 4th of July I have ever seen in my life, a country celebration like no other. The performances by all the singers were spot on. This is the greatest time to be a true patriot. Thank you, Founding Fathers.

Despite political turmoil in Washington our international visitors to the World Cup Soccer Tournament love the American way. They are shocked by our Walmart and Costco stores’ abundance of variety, big screen TVs, our BBQ foods, free ice at hotels, air conditioning everywhere, etc. and the welcoming by average American citizens as their new friends. God bless America.

Two words

Empathy is the ability to imagine how others feel. Narcissism is excessive preoccupation with oneself. Which of the two traits would most likely look out for your best interests? Which of the two would be most effective in leading and uniting a nation of diverse people and cultures? Character counts in picking the best leaders.
