Unpatriotic
The 250 Celebration commemoration has been co-opted by President Trump’s political rally, speech at the mall, UFC fighting and some NASCAR event. It’s supposed to be the anniversary of our countries Independence from Britain, but Trump is making it about him.
Observation and comparison
So, we are visiting in the Orlando area and heard about a disturbance in the Gulf. We turned on the TV and, guess what, the cable company here believes its customers deserve the best in storm and hurricane safety, so they provide The Weather Channel. Look, in Biloxi we are always on alert for strange goings-on in the Gulf. Sparklight Cable’s cheap-out of simply reposting the free FOX Weather YouTube channel just doesn’t cut it. This, especially, since they continue to charge the same price. Give us some respect. Give us The Weather Channel.
Independent’s Day
I just finished watching a series on Netflix called Designated Survivor. The point is the person who became president was an Independent. Wouldn’t it be nice to not have to listen to Democrats vs. Republicans? I’m so tired of the “my party is better than your party.” America will never be great again until all this nonsense stops and everyone just follows the rules.
No to E15
E10 is bad enough. Now, vested interests are struggling to pass a bill to authorize E15. Using petroleum products to run farm equipment to grow corn to turn into alcohol to mix with petroleum products. Who made up this crazy idea?
Grocery prices
I spent $65 at the grocery store and bought no meat. Blueberries were $5 and all the produce was priced high. I wonder if deporting all the immigrants who pick produce on farms have anything to do with this. Where are the American job seekers?
Democrats
I truly believe that even if the Democrats had nothing to complain about, they’d complain about having nothing to complain about.
President Snowflake
President Trump walked on an interview because the host, a female, asked him for evidence that the 2020 election was stolen. He called her crooked and stupid. Teach the children and lead the way?
