Unbelievable

I went back and looked at which candidate the New York Times said won the Trump-Biden debate. You know, the one where Biden’s own wife thought he was having a stroke. Two Times columnists insisted he’d fought Trump to a draw.

The best y’all can do?

For all the talk of how the Democrats are going to do so well in the next election ... have y’all actually looked at some of these so-called star candidates? You mean to tell me James Talarico is going to win in Texas? And Graham Platner is going to win in Maine? Look them up. They’ve got no shot.

Biloxi parking

Parking in front of downtown Biloxi businesses is essential. I drove a 90-year-old lady with a brace on her leg to her lawyer’s office to make her will; there was no way she could have walked from a distant parking lot. Please keep on-street parking for those who need it.

Thanks for nothing

I’m not sure who was responsible for the decision to make the parking garage between the Beau Rivage and the baseball stadium a paid lot, but thanks for nothing.

Biden’s legacy

The author of “Biden’s Legacy” conveniently ignores the fact that the three cited pieces of legislation led to the highest levels of inflation since 1982. Across the Biden presidency, cumulative inflation rose 21.4%. 82% of the rise in prices since January 2021 is directly attributable to Biden’s inflationary policies.

Close to a deal

I read that we’re now close to a deal with Iran. Is this close like we were four weeks ago? Or close like we were three weeks ago? Or maybe close like we were two weeks ago?

Almost over

How many times do we have to listen to the White House propaganda that the war that never was a war is over, the cease fire is holding despite new bombings every day and negotiations are going just swimmingly or are off altogether depending on what lie suits the situation? No one in the Trump administration would know how to tell the truth if their life depended on it. Meanwhile, the MAGA cult pretends to not grasp the obvious reasons for the blowback on everything Trump says and does.

Promises

Donald Trump made a lot of promises about how he was going to make America great again. As best I can tell, he’s spent his time making himself and his friends rich again.

Maybe it’s the job

Every time I see the nightly news, there is a video about some press conference at the White House. And President Trump always seems to be asleep. Maybe it’s the job. Maybe next time we can try electing someone that isn’t decrepit.

Good job, DOGE

The New World Screwworm, a grave parasitic threat, has just been detected in US cattle for the first time since it was eradicated in 1966. The parasite’s revival comes after Trump and DOGE slashed funding for Screwworm monitoring programs.

This is fine

Oh, look, the screwworm is back in Texas. Awesome job by our totally competent government, which is in no way too preoccupied with Iran and Cuba and Greenland and other foreign nonsense to Make America Great Again.

Can’t wait

I can’t even begin to tell you how much I am looking forward to President Trump blaming Biden for the return of the screwworm.
