What was that?

Remind me to stay home next time I think of traveling to Hattiesburg for a Southern Miss postseason game.

Getting shorter

Decades ago, my husband summoned me to the front door, where he was installing a glass peephole. He measured it to be at the exact height of my eyes. Today, it’s too high. Remember that when you’re installing a peephole and drop it about two inches. You can always stoop.

How bad is it?

Anyone else question why Melania Trump chose to have the big premier of her fluffy “documentary” at the Kennedy Center when it is “rusted, rotted and rat and bug infested” and “unsafe to be in?” What about the safety of all the other performers that were scheduled? Her husband is acting like a petulant spoiled brat because it is being pointed out that he broke the law. I’m sure the day after his name is removed the whole building will crumble into a pile of debris in protest.

Biden’s decline

We can all thank CBS and Jill Biden for giving MAGA world another excuse to revisit the done to death topic of Joe Biden’s decline. Republicans could talk about Donald Trump’s obvious decline and cover up, or all the blatant corruption going on, but no, let’s keep watching the president nod off almost daily and then reference “Sleepy Joe” at every opportunity.

Biden interview

Trump supporters jumped all over the interview from Jill Biden about Joe almost having a stroke. Yet, every day Trump says something incoherent or falls asleep during meetings and events. Trump is president now. Mocking Biden won’t make him better at his job.

Sunday absolution

If you go to church on Sundays to seeking forgiveness for all the unchristian things you’ve done all week, you are wasting your time and God’s.

Justice system

It seems that all you must do to get out of serving time for a crime is to sue. This delays the case until no one cares anymore. Meanwhile, people who can’t afford a private attorney will stay in jail indefinitely until the courts decide when to go to trial. Bail regulations are uneven and subject to interpretation. Money or who you know seems to be the key.
