Jeffries’ stunt
So Hakeem Jeffries is reaching out to SEC athletes to boycott the coming season in response to redistricting in Southern states. So, he’s basically asking these athletes to forego in some cases millions of dollars in NIL money for political reasons. Really? Trinidad Chambliss must be rolling his eyes at this absurdity.
Speeding
Cars speed up and down Victory Street in front of GHS during school exception hours. You would think at least one policeman would be present.
Beds are burning
It’s stunning how ignorant and vulnerable the electorate can be. California, Illinois, New York and other states electing socialists and communists in training to local, state and federal positions. There is plenty of history overwhelmingly showing those ideologies have utterly failed everywhere ever tried, yet voters turn over the keys after consuming Marxist jargon.
Who’s in charge?
I continue to be amused at all these Sound Off-ers complaining about the Democrats, ignoring, perhaps out of ignorance, that the Republicans are in charge of the government and are making these decisions they complain about.
Cuba
Unfortunately, the indictment of Raul Castro has nothing to do with the victims of the downed planes receiving justice, and has everything to do with Donald Trump’s opportunity/excuse to sneak into yet another country to capture Castro as part of his obsessive mission to display his all-reaching power and world dominance. Where is the indictment for the gruesome killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi allegedly by the Saudi government? There was money to be made, so Trump rolled out the red carpet for them and said, oh well, “things happen.”
No money for them
Gosh, if the Epstein victims had just stormed the Capitol in support of Donald Trump, maybe they’d actually get a little money for their trouble.
Fake news?
The current print media landscape, especially regarding coverage of Trump, tend to lean in a direction that’s not always favorable to him, and lately, I’ve noticed that the stories about his actions seem to be getting more and more outlandish. Honestly, some of these reports strike me as almost too bizarre to be true, i.e., Fake News. Because of this, I’m seriously considering stepping back from print media for a while. The sheer volume of sensational stories is overwhelming, and I find myself questioning their validity more and more. Then I see on TV that Trump is actually saying and doing all of the whacky things he’s accused of. If I keep reading about these shenanigans, I feel like my brain might just explode.
