Democrats

Scott Jennings reports that outgoing California Gov. Gavin Newsom has an emergency “break the glass” plan if voters reject the Democratic candidates in the gubernatorial race. This is the Democratic Party, folks. Their pursuit of power is ruthless.

More Democrats

Abortion, transgenderism, “climate change” — these are the new “religions” of far-left radicals.

So corrupt

The president filed the lawsuit. The president’s DOJ settled the lawsuit. The president’s allies collect the money. And you’re paying for it.

Never seen anything like it

A sitting president sues the government, which settles. And now we get to pay him nearly $2 billion. It’s almost funny,

Fiscal responsibility

For a party that loves to talk about fiscal responsibility, President Trump’s election sure is going to cost a lot, once we get past giving him $1.7 billion and building him a $1 billion ballroom and whatever the reflecting pool and Kennedy Center end up costing.

Money for nothing

President Trump pardoned the Jan. 6 rioters, now he wants to pay them? Where is this money coming from and what are they getting paid for doing?

Stupidity

The Democrats vote against everything the Republicans try to accomplish and undermine the government at every turn, then crow when something fails. They take jokes made by our president and act like he wants it to become policy. They are spoon-fed lies and half-truths by the leftist media and believe the propaganda. They protect criminals and fight the authorities trying to protect us. And are those paid agitators paying taxes on that income? People, look around and see what’s really going on. Start thinking for yourselves. Do you ever wonder how members of Congress get so rich on their salaries? Seems like y’all got your education from the Learning Center.

Massie’s bid

I suspect the result of Rep. Thomas Massie’s primary will tell us an awful lot about the direction of the country and what the midterms are going to look like.

Stupid money

Gulfport’s $50M circuitous road maze to “solve” congestion problems at West of 49 and Interstate 10 is silly. If you’re obviously trying to kowtow to out-of-state monied developers and don’t care about DEQ guidelines on wetlands (apparently the powers that be have already erased that hurdle), simply make frontage roads on both the immediate north and south areas abutting Interstate 10 on the north, from Daniel to Canal Road and on the south, continue Creosote Road from Outlets to Canal Road. Done.

Thanks for nothing

So we’re going to wreck the environment for a road that no locals want. But the city will make a dollar or two, so here we go.

Fill them all in

Let’s just fill all the wetlands in. What could possibly go wrong?

Dangerous road

On March 24, a driver, trying to avoid an oncoming vehicle on the yellow line, slid into the ditch in front of 1338 Pine St., totaling her car. The road is narrow and has a steep dropoff. Pine Street is usually wet, causing this to happen regularly. Once the right wheels touch the grass, vehicles usually cannot recover and can slide down into the ditch.

Match the crime

Tyler Robinson, awaiting trial for assassinating Charlie Kirk, continues pre-trial motions intended to block public access to the trial and parts of the evidence against him. It’s an ironic quirk of our legal system that to insure a fair trial some steps have to be taken to avoid tainting a jury. Steps simultaneously shielding the perpetrator from the publicity and notoriety they desperately sought. Eventually Robinson should be convicted, given the death penalty and then publicly executed in a timely fashion. That’s how this country needs to respond to such heinous, murderous crimes when the evidence is overwhelming and proven beyond any doubt.
