Cuba

For decades, we’ve been trying to end the Castros’ reign in Cuba. It’s beginning to look like Donald Trump will be the president to get the job done.

Complaints?

Would you look at that? Cuba looks ready to deal with the United States. I’m sure the Trump-haters will figure out a way to make this a bad thing.

Make them pay

Cuba has spent years attacking America in all manner of ways. It’s high time the country’s leadership pays the price.

What’s next?

Venezuela, Iran, Cuba ... I was told there would be no nation-building. I was promised America First. Instead, we’ve got $4 gas and we’re focusing on all sorts of nonsense all over the globe.

Only Donald

Only Donald Trump can have a project go a something like a billion dollars over budget and then insult the folks that have the temerity to ask him about it.

RINOs

Every real Republican senator and congressman will vote against lifting the gas tax. Between tax cuts and outrageous deficit spending by both parties, our national borrowing is only getting worse. Cut the waste and greed, instead.

Public Service Announcement

For those who are part of the 24/7 outrage machine, your endless irrational hated filled rants are changing the hearts and minds of no one.

Do it now

I’m disappointed that Mississippi will not be redistricting. As red as our state is, there’s no reason there should be a district gerrymandered for Bennie Thompson.

More renovation

Why does President Trump think he can renovate Washington D.C.? He lives in Florida. Renovate Mar a Largo, his private property. He does not own anything in D.C. He’s just getting kickbacks from contractors.

Failure

You mean to tell me a guy that couldn’t make money running a casino is seeing his precious projects go way over budget? I just don’t believe it.

Makes no sense

Why would we build a road that crosses Highway 49 as an access road to the north, tearing through or under or over I-10? It would make more sense to use Hewes Avenue to Three Rivers Road to connect to Highway 67 that ends into Highway 49? No major construction needed.

Trust

I never thought I would see the day that I would trust Iran’s news agency, IRNA, over the words of the president of the United States, but that day has arrived.
